Woodbridge Riverside Trust is the Leaseholder of The Longshed, which hosts a range of projects.
Currently the main occupant of the Longshed is the Sutton Hoo Ship's Company, an independent Charity, almost entirely all volunteers, who are undertaking a major Archaeological experiment by reconstructing of the iconic Anglo Saxon ship dating from 600AD and discovered in 1939 at Sutton Hoo just across the River Deben, using primarily tools of the period.
The Longshed is also the home of the Trust's "The King’s River Tapestry" project , now registered with the National Needlework Archive as of national importance. Woodbridge Coastal Rowing Club built their racing Skiffs in the Longshed, and youth groups have built a range of items, including a pirogue canoe. More community projects are being planned.
